Aston Villa is poised to finalize the signing of Johan Manzambi from SC Freiburg, securing one of Germany’s most promising young midfielders. The Switzerland international made a significant impact during Freiburg’s run to the Europa League final last season and impressed further at this summer’s World Cup.
Manzambi scored three goals and provided two assists in four World Cup matches before an injury sidelined him for Switzerland’s fixtures against Colombia and Argentina.
German football expert Florian Forst shared insights on what Villa supporters can anticipate from their new midfielder in an interview with Bulinews.

Turning 21 this October, Forst noted that Manzambi still has areas to develop.
